DEIVF 2.0: Snowflake Project

Today I had an ultrasound to measure the thickness of my lining. This is done with one of those infamous Transvaginal ultrasound. Even after all these times, that sh*t is still a bit unnerving.
Anyway, in the past, one of my issues has been that my lining was never thick enough and then, we’d to double up the doses. Some REs are looking at a minimum of 6mm, while others want at least 8mm. I was always just barely above 6mm by transfer day.
This time around, this new RE actually “listened” to me and started with a higher dose from the very beginning. Today, the lining is at 6mm and we still have at least a week to go. This is good, this makes me have one less worry about our upcoming zygote/embryo transfer.
So, somewhere in Prague, or near there, there is a woman probably getting a bit uncomfortable right about now and wanting to get all those eggs out! I’m thinking of her and sending her so much love right now. I hope, she knows that.
Thanks for helping a sistah out!

PS: as you can’t probably see, there is a tiny, sad, little follicle on one side. On a normal woman, there should be at least a fat one (ready to release an egg) and several small ones on each side. That is premature ovarian failure (POF) for you.
